my boyfriend came back from Athens and got me this. You can’t see it very well but it’s loads of little strings of purple and black leather bound together and with occasional silver beads on them.

I’m going to a wedding in June. It’s my first ever wedding. My boyfriend is going to be one of the groomsmen and I’m very excited about the whole affair.

Anyway, as mentioned, I’ve never been to one before. So I have no idea what sort of clothes are acceptable for weddings. I’m there for the ceremony AND the reception, which I believe has a break in between.

My mother suggested that sometimes this means people are supposed to CHANGE for the day affair and the night affair. SAY WHAT?! Or is that just her experience of Turkish weddings?

Seriously help me out yo, what do people wear to English weddings that are in cutesy stately homey places? Tea dresses? Matching skirt and blazer? A FASCINATOR?! DO I need a second outfit? Help help help help.
